Use A Keyword Selector Tool For Micro Niche Discovery

The keyword selector tool that you use will normally determine how quickly you can get certain keywords ranked on the search engines. If the free Google keyword tool is used the results that are gained will not be enough to determine whether a keyword is a good one to target or not.

There are many keyword research services that will offer to find you good keywords that are relatively easy to rank for but this will come at a price. You will also only get a list of the keywords and not the in depth analysis that these keyword research services have gained from your chosen word or set of words.

The analysis of these words are the most important part of any search and are vital to any strategic marketing plan.  Without this information you will not be able to gain any insight as to whether these keywords are going to be easy to rank for.

A good keyword selector tool will give you every piece of information that you need from the amount of searches a month to how stiff the competition that is already on the first page of the search engines is.  The good thing about this as well is that there is normally only a one off payment and then the product is yours, against an ongoing payment to the keyword research services every time you want to find a new set of keywords.

A lot of the so called Internet marketing experts will tell you to target keywords that have at least three thousand searches per month but in my opinion that is a mistake.  What I recommend is to go for what are commonly known as termite keywords.

These termite words will not get as many searches a month but will normally be a lot easier to rank for.  The reason for this is that you will be going against the grain and doing the complete opposite of the majority of internet marketers.

Once you have your keywords analyzer software up and running then look for ten keywords that have approximately three hundred searches per month each. Split them up into two groups and then write five articles with two keywords in each of them.

This way you have the potential to be placed on the first page of the search engines quite easily for each of your ten keywords and having to do less promotion and backlinking for them to get there.  You will also be able to target a far wider audience than if you were just trying to rank for one keyword.

The cost of a good keyword generator tool will vary a lot and you need to do your due diligence before parting with any of your money. A good thing to do is visit the various internet marketing forums and see which ones people are talking about. One thing to avoid though is testimonials on a sales page as unfortunately more often than not they are set up by giving away a free copy of the product in exchange for good words about the product.

A good keyword selector tool will probably set you back approximately a hundred dollars but do not let that put you off. Although the cost probably seems quite high to you at the moment it will more than pay for itself by saving you hours if not days of searching for those keywords that are going to give you an improved search engine ranking.
